If there’s one thing many Aussie 4WD enthusiasts are looking forward to every year, it has got to be the many different off road touring events and competitions being held in different parts of the country. During these events, they get to test their driving skills and the capabilities of their vehicles, and of course, earn bragging rights over their friends and colleagues. Joining these exciting events is indeed a must-do for every 4WD fan, but if you want to join the big boys (and girls!) of 4x4 touring, you have to make sure that your ride is equipped with the best and the most reliable LED light bars in Australia.
So, are you ready to jump in and join the adrenaline-pumping world of 4WD touring? If you are, here are some of the most popular and prestigious touring events in the country where having good lighting equipment is an advantage.
1. Australian Off Road Championship (AORC). The AORC is one of the biggest sporting events in the 4WD world. Aside from the event participants, LED light bar manufacturers are also looking forward to this event because it serves as an excellent “litmus test” for their products. The AORC is usually held in five different venues in each state. There’s the Mildura AORC race in Victoria, the Waikerie Race in South Australia, The Finke Desert Race in the Northern Territory, the Kalgoorlie 400 in Western Australia, and Coffs Coast 400 in New South Wales.
2. International Rally of Queensland. Known as IROC and supported by Tourism and Events Queensland, this competition covers many different races of different levels of difficulty. Race headquarters are in Caloundra and participants test their mettle around the Kenilworth and Imbil State Forests.
3. Navrun. Navrun is an annual competition being held in September in Erica, Victoria. Started in 2002 and organised by the most experienced 4WD competition organisers in the country, it has over 100 events where you can test your driving skills and the capability of your 4WD LED bar light.
4. Australasian Safari. Established in 1985 as the Wynns Safari, this competition is one of the oldest and the most prestigious events of its kind in the country. It showcases the beauty of WA and offers competitors many different geographical challenges in one long-distance race.
If you want to get a better shot at the trophy and prize money offered by these events, make sure that your 4x4 is properly tuned and sporting the best 4WD action LED light bar. Visit Elinz Electronics to find the light bar you need.
