There are many instances or situations where you may need a car battery charger. In most cases a discharged battery can occur while you are camping. This is because some campers use light sources that are attached to their car’s battery and may use it overnight. You may also need one when you are travelling long distances across the country. You wouldn’t want your car battery to die out in the middle of nowhere and have to wait long hours for help to arrive. However, some may find it uncomfortable to use a portable car battery charger because they are concerned for their safety.
This is why you should use a smart car battery charger instead. This new Maxxlee smart car battery charger is one of the safest and most advanced battery chargers in the market. Here’s why this car battery charger is labelled as a smart battery charger.
Unlike ordinary car battery chargers, this smart battery charger has 9 stage charging steps that can charge 12V and 24V batteries. It also charges batteries 2x faster than ordinary battery chargers and can be used for RV’s, cars, trucks, and even boats. When you plug in this battery charger to your car battery, it will automatically begin these steps.
Step 1: Diagnostics - The smart battery charger will check the status of the battery you are connecting it to and detect the right voltage for it.
Step 2: Recovery - This step is where the smart battery charger will recover your battery charger by charging with a 1.5A low current if your car battery’s voltage is over 4.5V. When the voltage of your car battery reaches 10.5V the smart battery charger will automatically switch to the regular charging mode.
Step 3: Soft Start - The smart charger will test your car battery charger if it will accept the charge to prevent charging a defective battery.
Step 4: Bulk Charge - In this phase, 80% of the energy is returned when charging. You can then set the charging speed depending if your battery is a 12V or 24V battery.
Step 5: Absorption - A constant low current of 1.5A will be given out by the smart battery to raise the voltage of your battery and this happens during 80 to 90% charging.
Step 6: Spontaneous selection of charging voltage - The charger will automatically emit the appropriate LED light that corresponds with the current voltage your car battery charger has.
Step 7: Trickle - This phase ensures that your car battery will be charged to 100% and will switch to trickle once that is achieved.
Step 8: Maintenance - The smart battery charger constantly monitors the terminal voltage to determine if further maintenance charging is needed.
Step 9: 13.6V Power Supply - When this mode is activated, you will be able to provide power to 12V DC appliances.
With these great features, you can see that a smart car battery charger will be more convenient to use than a regular battery charger. It’s also designed to ensure your safety and can ease your worries when using on different battery types.
