With situations related to the COVID-19 getting better day by day in the country, its possible that lockdown restrictions might be relaxed in the coming days. We here at Elinz believe in safety through information, so we'd like to share with you some facts to help keep you safe and knowledgeable with the pandemic.

#1: COVID-19 is probably the most contagious disease out there, and is a global pandemic that has reached all different parts of the globe. Studies have shown that while there are those that experience mild symptoms in younger people, the symptoms still vary- it's best to stay safe and be cautious against the virus rather than depending on your idea of how strong your immune system is.
#2: While recognizing the dangers of COVID-19, we need to follow the guidelines set by WHO and the government to the letter to ensure that we're safe and COVID-19-free. The emphasis these days is staying indoors, and lessening the possible vectors of transmission for COVID-19.
This is not only our responsibility to ourselves and our family, but by following these provisions, we help our healthcare system become less overwhelmed with the number of cases that we have to attend to, which in turn, hampers our response to the virus. The people who are at risk who deserve treatment the most might not be attended to due to the number of cases active, and even non-COVID health problems might not be attended to as well, causing more deaths.
The bottom line: stay at home, wash your hands and make sure to keep your distance from other people!
It's also important to know what the symptoms are, just in case. Besides it teling you when you should get in touch with a healthcare provider, it also lets you know when you should seek to isolate further from other people to prevent further spread of COVID-19.
If you do show the symptoms above, don't panic; the first thing that you should do is isolate yourself, and get in touch with a healthcare provider. Do not immediately visit the hospital as sson as you show symptoms; call ahead so that your local hospital isn't overwhelmed with a new case. Remember that COVID-19 is incredibly contagious; they have to prepare for every new patient and by calling ahead, they can assess if you can stay at home with minimal symptoms, or if you truly need to be admitted for more intensive and attentive healthcare.
Do we really need to wear masks? The official stance of the government is that we don't need to wear masks if we're all healthy; that being said, hospitals need it the most, especially for N95 masks.

2. Food industry workers. While all restaurants are ordered to not receive dine-in customers for now and business hours are limited, they still come in contact with plenty of people, and they prepare food within the kitchen. They need all the protection that face masks provide.
3. Logistics workers. Those that work in warehouses and deliver various goods may come in contact with plenty of people; it's important that they're well protected as well during this pandemic.
