Let’s be honest- reviewing security camera videos are extremely tedious.
They take up lots of time, and they’re such a chore to deal with, especially if you’re looking at hours upon hours of footage, with no idea who you’re supposed to look out for.
Most people who need footage reviewed usually have a general, yet a non-specific time and date for the things that they want to see on the security camera’s feed. But most of the time, they don’t know who might be involved in the video. It’s the biggest problem that people who own security cameras have- it’s just so very tedious, and there rarely is any system to help make things less tedious.
Until now.
Elinz now has facial capture software assisted by AI with our DVRs for security cameras, which you can assign to one security camera.
Here’s how it works:
Set up your security cameras to save all the videos they take into one DVR.
Assign one security camera for this function. Note that only one (1) camera can be assigned this function, and the rest will not be able to take videos with facial recognition.
Place that security camera in the highest traffic area of your home or business, or the most important part that needs to be under surveillance.
Your DVR will automatically detect and capture all the faces one security camera will see throughout the duration of the recording. From there, they’ll be separated by time and date on the DVR’s interface, and you should be able to see who did what at what time.
And this isn’t just for crimes or to see “who did what”- this is perfect for many different situations at work and at home. Did someone forget something somewhere? Maybe someone picked it up and put it somewhere else.Who did this or who did that?
People are extremely forgetful at times and it helps to have a point of reference. Obviously security cameras are mostly used for catching people red-handed if they try out something that’s illegal, but sometimes they can also be helpful in remembering things.
This new feature in our DVRs for our security cameras help a lot in identifying those situations and helping people sort things out. If you’re running a business, this is also a great way to verify your employee’s attendance, and the likenesses of the people that come and go into your business’ premises, whether they're regular contractors/visitors, or they're a new face.
Just by identifying faces and sorting them into neat little time stamps, this makes the most tedious part about security cameras- reviewing footage - a walk in the park.
(this image is not the exact representation of the actual interface on the DVR feature.)
You can see just with this function that it makes checking for video logs incredibly easier. By knowing who to look for, or categorizing your security footage, you’re essentially cutting out all the work needed just to look for a specific person.
Here are the security cameras that come with this feature:
Simply click on the links above if you'd like to get a security camera bundle with a DVR that has the face detection and capture technology. Again, the feature is tied to the DVR, not the security camera. Additionally, the feature can only be applied for one security camera in your home.
Again, these are the specific items that we have in our listings where the DVRs have face-capture technology. The feature is in no way, specific to a single security camera on our listings.
