We’ve been talking about face masks for quite some time here on the blog, and while the government doesn’t wearinrecommend wearing a mask all the time when you’re out and about, we still believe in being safe and not taking any chances with COVID-19.
If you’re at risk for COVID-19, there really isn’t any debate. Make sure to stay indoors as much as possible, follow social distancing rules to the letter and when you can’t socially distance, wear a mask.
And it looks like the local government’s bending to the issue at hand - recently there were sudden spikes in COVID cases over the weekend and just yesterday, prompting some health officials to support the usage of masks, as can be seen here on an interview with ABC.
In Austria, they've found that the usage of masks has also helped decrease the number of their active cases by 90%.
With all this being said, what makes them a must-have these days? Here are some of our findings:
Considering the data that is available to us today, it appears that we can all do better in fighting COVID-19 by wearing masks, at least until a vaccine is developed.
If you’re working in the service or transportation industry, it’s important that you protect yourself throughout these days - you will be in contact with a lot of people over the course of the pandemic. And with the restrictions easing day by day and with more and more business and travel options becoming largely available again, it’s a smart thing to protect yourself.
If you’re looking for masks to protect yourself during these trying times, do visit us today at our health and wellness category where you’ll find both surgical masks, gloves and N95 masks.
