Yes- LED lights are safe, but make sure that you’re purchasing from a reliable and safe source. Our LED lights here at Elinz are safe and carry the necessary permits that correlate to complete safety for you and your family.
LED light strips are pretty easy to install too- you can usually just mount them or stick them to the walls, and you should be all set!
If you're looking for some great LED light strips, we have some at Elinz that are easy to install, easy to use and should you need to do so, they're also easy to remove and move around. Get yours here today.
Not only are LED light strips safe and easy to install, but they’re also quite energy efficient- this makes them the best decoration for your child’s home, and quite possibly a great option for the room’s main lighting, too. A couple of pointers, though:
Educate your child that it’s not good to touch the LED light bar- it might be hot to the touch and your child might get hurt. It’s not safe to look at the LED light directly either- let your child know this even if the light strip has lesser light intensity.
The latest innovations include some brand new features that help make surveillance easier, especially when it comes to reviewing footage (which is the most tedious part of surveillance).
The most noteworthy feature that I can think of in recent history is the inclusion of automated features that help make surveillance and video review a breeze.
For example, some brand new tech includes AI to review surveillance. While that isn’t completely integrated in current systems today, we have the next best thing- facial recognition software that tags faces to any NVR or DVR.
We at Elinz have this feature for plenty of our security camera systems.
By tagging the faces and marking timestamps for each individual that’s captured in video by the security camera, it helps save time and makes it easier to review your footage, which is the entire point of using a security camera.
Couple of reasons why:
Frankly because there aren’t that many CCTVs around- not really. There are still plenty of areas that aren’t under surveillance, and there are plenty of cities in the world that don’t even have them even on regular streets.
Even in some more advanced communities, security cameras or CCTVs are used so sparingly.
But when security cameras do witness a crime, you can bet that it is a whole lot easier for law enforcement organizations to have the long arm of the law reach out and get its due.
Where there aren’t CCTVs, regular police-work takes over and solves the issue.
What CCTV also helps with is to deter crime, something which is overlooked as a factor for security cameras. But of course, there’s no easy way to gauge this, as a crime that is deterred is a crime that didn’t happen.
Don’t let this idea discourage you from getting a security camera for your home or property though. They’re useful, very efficient for most brands and great for keeping your home, family and property safe.
This really depends on the CCTV itself, and the DVR that’s being used to save the video feed.
Usually, the footage automatically deletes itself after 3 to 4 days as part of the looping feature that most security cameras have. If it isn’t reviewed and left to record on and on, then once the storage runs out then the DVR just “overwrites” any existing footage.
Some cameras sometimes “lock” certain footage; for example, some of our security cameras at Elinz have facial recognition software that keeps certain footage tagged so that it’s easier to review the footage.
If you don’t want footage to be automatically deleted in 3 to 4 days, its best to check up on a couple of factors such as:
Another feature that you can consider is offloading the video to a cloud service if your security camera offers that said feature.
No, I’m not an officer of the law nor do I have a particular fascination with recording everything- but I do own a smartphone, and I can always just whip it out when I need to record something.
When I’m driving, however, that’s a different story.
I make sure that my vehicle has a dash cam installed no matter what, for a couple of reasons:
